The name "Heartbeat" indicates that it will capture everything that happens in a site (or watched remote locations). Most basically activity will be logged on predefined events (moments in time) and as soon as the required conditions are met. E.g.
Display suite for drupal now supports fieldgroups, which could be ds fieldgroups or CCK fieldgroups, used by DS. With the styling options, it is now very easy to wrap your elements to keep styling to a minimum.
Sometimes we need to redirect old urls to new ones, so the (updated or redesigned) site keeps working. Also for campaigns that work with arguments we could redirect to the proper page.
The field group project is a follow-up on the field group module in CCK. The release will only exist for Drupal 7 release and higher, so since the existence of the Fields API in core.

You can edit their description or remove the image marker again.
